Are you are about to let our sister starve to death?

My sister suffered a cerebral bleed in September this year and has been in hospital and step down care ever since. Being that she is comatose, her husband had access to most of the information as relates to her condition and the way forward. The rest of the family was starved of information, only receiving bits and pieces..

As bad as that was, her husband has now absconded and all of a sudden Medihelp is sharing information with the rest of the family; only to tell us that she has to leave step-down by Tuesday and that the family has to find her a place to stay for frail care (which you won't cover) and that is not all, you won't cover enteral feeding which we hurriedly tried finding costing on and the prices we saw so far is for R420 per litre.

We do not have the financial means ourselves and we have no access to her finances and financial information (which you are aware of - we recently collected funds to appoint an attorney that will allow us to access information) and now you basically are trying to force a situation where our sister might starve to death!!!

This is unfathomable in this day and age and I am sure even ********; she is a sister, a mother, a daughter and oh yes, one of your employees that has dedicated her life working at your company. Is this really what Medihelp is about?
