50% Payment if you are lucky!

Had an approved theatre procedure - only half of anaesthetist claim paid. Now all of a sudden I was supposed to get approval for the anaesthetist - whom I am not choosing - every specialist uses his/her preferred anaesthetist! Went to very conservative dentist who charged me R700 for 1 old fashioned x-ray, an injection and smoothing an old filling i.l.o. replacing it. Guess what - only half of bill paid! We are on Dimension Elite option which is not not cheap and have been happy with Medihelp for years but at this stage we feel we might as well not have a medical aid and will definitely look at other options at the end of the year.
