21days no authorization /non disclosing investigation pending

We've been a member of Discovery Medical Aid, for almost 7years. The only reason why we moved to Medihelp is because the benefits seemed very good and the pricing. We joined Medihelp 1 March 2022,immediately after canceling with Discovery. Today is day 21 and I still haven't received any feedback, as the investigation is still pending, non disclosure on the application form. My procedure was postponed. Yet again my procedure is in a few days time and I still did not get authorization. It's not like we did not have medical aid at all. Did we make a mistake moving from what we had?
