MDS Collivery Terrible.

MDS collected a compressor of mine. They accepted collection of the item. They had no ropes to tie it. The supplier had to provide them with ropes to tie the item down.

The compressor was then damaged as it was dropped in their depot due to their negligence. They even have the video footage of it. They stated that the compressor wasn't packaged correctly after they had dropped it. But they accepted collection of it, which then makes them responsible and liable for it.

They then tell me that I never specified insurance on the item so I can get R1000. The same supplier has sent numerous compressors all over the country with this being the only one that has been damaged.

My advice to other people out there is to use someone else if you want your item to arrive in one piece.

Now its off to the lawyers.
