Goods damaged, refusal to pay even with insurance
I have been dealing with MDS for almost 5 years now. On Monday I had a painting shipped from Oudtshoorn to Pretoria. The painting arrived physically broken in half. This despite the fact that it has six bright orange fragile stickers pasted all over the bubble wrap. I contacted MDS Collivery and was told by Martin to send an e-mail with pictures. Shuan Bertlett e-mailed me back with not a single apology but simply said it's not their problem. they don't insure paintings and that the description on the way-bill was goods. Well Shuan your sales rep Martin was the one who told us right from the start to use the goods description to prevent theft, but it seems clear now that it should be used so you can indemnify yourself from any wrong doing. I called Shaun and he was unhelpful rude and arrogant right from the get go. He constantly interrupted me and refused to listen to a word I had to say. Eventually I lost my cool with him and told dim he is a cr**ked piece of sh*t. He told me to calm down and act professional and proceeded to say \you are a f*cking c*nt
