Don't ever use this company!

Hi.

I scheduled a delivery from Cape Town to Swaziland (waybill no. ********** ). The quote was sent to me and the package was picked up. At the time I was not aware that I needed an export code at the time to send a package across the border. The package (to my knowledge) went as far as Johannesburg.

I was told that I need to create a new waybill (waybill no. ********** ) because I changed the delivery to the South African border where someone would collect it. When the package left Cape Town it was weighed at original weight 10.9KG and volumetric weight 29.3KG. When the package was weighed in JHB it increased to original weight 11.1KG and volumetric weight 32.1KG and so did the price. I asked the package to be re-weighed but yet the price did not change. I was told the volumetric weight is still above 30KG. Despite it being weighed in CPT at 29.3KG???

I received no formal document stating what the volumetric weight was at that point when it was re-weighed at the Nelspruit Depot.

I paid for waybill no. ********** and sent proof of payment to Jabu Baloyi on 15 Feb 2018. I still received an email every day to say that my account was in arrears, despite sending proof of payment. This was really annoying and frustrating, thinking that I had paid it to the wrong account or there had been an issue with the bank. Jabu never answered any of my emails. I just got the same email every day saying that my account was in arrears.

I phoned Jabu and he told me they hadn’t checked their statements yet to see if payment was received. Is that my problem that you don’t check if payment was received?

Now, I get an email from Jabu saying I must pay for the original collivery (waybill no. ********** ) which is in the excess of R1000 from CPT to Swaziland. The package never reached its final destination, but I must still pay the full price??

Standard shipping via road freight from CPT to JHB on your website with the above dimensions comes to roughly R350 – R500. I have emailed Jabu a few times regarding this matter, but he never replies. All he sends me is a reminder that the account needs to be paid. I am more than willing to pay for the package that I wanted delivered. But not with this customer service that is given where the only response is WE WANT OUR MONEY!

Please can this be dealt with as soon as possible so I can be done with this!

Regards Very disappointed customer
