All the bells, none of the whistles

Imagine awaiting an item from a purchase to be delivered with a notification like any other courier would supply, only to find you would never see it on time...

Last week Wednesday, I had ordered an item from a seller off Bid or Buy, payment took a few days to clear, Item was dispatched on Monday this week as per the seller notifying me. Got the waybill number Tuesday with an update for delivery on the 13th December 2017 Wednesday before 13:00. Great!! I waited, 13:00 came then and went. Got to the evening & realised, I wasn't gonna see this package. Contacted MDS via the FB page Wednesday night being the same missed day of delivery and was told they would look into it.

Got called early this morning Thursday by a somewhat flabbergasted consultant, whom came across as quite outlandish with a response of "Since, I have been instructed to call you, I need to explain the reasoning behind why your package never arrived". The root cause was that they couldn't fly the package down as the airport wouldn't accept it as per being a battery & naturally it could explode somehow during flight so it has been delayed, however I would get this afternoon (Thursday) latest...

Afternoon came and went & thought best to contact MDS and bring it to their attention that there is no sign of delivery or any indication thereof as couriers never deem it essential to update their customers. I was then apologised to again blah blah and promised to have the item received by early evening if I accepted that as an option by a Shalayne. I gladly accepted as I wanted my item. Well! it is now 23:37 as i'm writing this with no package, call or indication of delivery.

Why are you still open as a business knowing you are running improperly, costing people time & money. It is not something i'd be happy about as business nor promote by lying about arrangements. To me it's like you have no control over your drivers or you are new to the courier business & are still on training wheels. You do the over promise, under deliver method very well!

I wish I could get refunded for the delay & also just know, I will never use you as a courier company or allow a business to offer you as an option!
