I don 't get it that all motor dealerships (not exclusively McCarthy but they are the latest) I have dealt with the last couple of years have this window chip repair call when you take your car in for a service - i.e. someone phones you and tell you you have chips on your windscreen and offer to repair it. Now I know my cars and there are no chips to repair which leads to the logical conclusion that this is a **** - why offer to repair something that is not broken? Interestingly it is never the dealership itself that calls you but a third party. But the dealership a) tells them your car is there for a service b) gives them your number without your permission - which is actually worse and of course ********. Just stop it!
