VW Constantia working on my nerves!

VW was fast becoming one of my favorite brands when I purchased my vehicle from them in 2017 but in hindsight I shouldn't have ignores the red flags when one of their employees were dismissed after literally committing ***** on my deal. Anyway, since the ***** didn't impact me I decided to keep the vehicle and went about my business... it wasn't until this past Wednesday when my vehicle broke down and the fault was to be covered by the manufacturer warranty (3 year) since my vehicle is a 2016 model registered 26th January 2016 that means my warranty lapses 26th January 2019 right? Well can someone try and explain this to the *****s at Constantia!! We have been in talks with the manager Clement Maluleke who one minute assured us that he would resolve the matter and we had nothing to worry about then the next he tells us that the vehicle is a 2015 model and the warranty has lapsed... how is it my problem when the manufacturer activated the warranty?? If you think I'm going to take this lying down you have another thing coming!! I should have stayed with Hyundai instead of getting into business with a bunch of dishonest people!!
