Unsatisfied Customer
About 2 weeks ago I purchased a used 2019 Ford Fiesta Titanium at McCarthy Ford The Glen, the salesman (Tshepo Ndhlovu) was very friendly and helpful, but the vehicle came with some issues:
(1) The rear number plate was not secured and vibrating sounds when driving. (2) Rear wiper was not working. (3) I wasn't given a spare key and user manual and service history books.
Now after reaching out to the dealership, these issues were sorted out.
Issues still not happy with:
(4) Engine compartment makes a rattling noise when starting the vehicle (the salesman says it's the normal sound of 1 Litre EcoBoost engines, but I am not satisfied. (5) When I got the vehicle, my infotainment system didn't last more than 5 minutes before turning off automatically to save battery, I thought it's just some settings. Now as soon as aI turn it on, it displays the (system turning off to save battery) message and according to the user manual, it is supposed to stay on for an hour. I did reach out to the salesman and I am still waiting for a response.
In conclusion, the salesman is very friendly and helpful, but I am not quite satisfied with the service I have received, I even doubt the car was checked (other than road worthy) before selling it to me. It is like each and every day I'm discovering new faults. This is not how a customer should feel after buying a car from a reputable company.
