Traffic fines

I purchased a vehicle from Mccarthy Edenvale on the 19th December 2014 and traded in my old vehicle. The old car was then sold to another owner and Mccarthy Edenvale didnt register that vehicle in the name of the new owner. I started getting traffic fines as the car was still registered in my name and when i advised Mccarthy about this they agreed it was an error on their side and that all the traffic fines accumulated from 19 December 2014 which amount to a total of R4600 will be settled by them. I have been given the run around with regards to this and to date the traffic fines have still not been settled (8 months later). I am unable to freely drive my car as i am afraid of getting arrested because of these traffic fines not made by me.<br> <br> Buying a car from Mccarthy was the worst thing iv ever done. *****ed off*
