Toyota Geniune Parts and Service useless ****

About 4 months ago my 2005 Toyota Hilux 4l v6 picked up a problem with the wipers as it started to blow the fuses. As my vehicle is serviced by Toyota I took it to Toyota Lynnwood to repair. This evening while my daughter and I was driving to hospital it started to rain and once again the wipers stopped working. As it is genuine Toyota parts and their service and parts carry a warranty I tried to contact them but could not get hold of anyone.It was at 19h00 and after hours so I contacted Toyota care and roadside assistance as I could not see and drive in the rain without wipers. To my astonishment they could not assist as according to Kelvin and Chester this was not mandated by Toyota for the AA to assist even if it is genuine Toyota parts and service. They only assist with cars 3 years old and newer. I could get assistance but then would have to pay for the tow in. No manager was available to escalate the problem to and Toyota was not available. I waited for the rain to lift and took my daughter and car home.Beware of Toyota genuine parts and service. Toyota do not honor their guarantee and commitment. I expect better from Toyota and will be visiting the dealer.
