Terrible service from McCarthy Ford The Glen

I recently took my car in for a service, a major service including an injector service was performed on my car. upon collecting the car, I drove it for about +- 5km to where I stay and then the engine light came on. just before I could get home. I parked the car for the evening and I took it right back the following morning to McCarthy Ford to report the problem.

they checked the car and I was informed that it is a false alarm and there was nothing wrong with the car.The technician told me that the diagnosis revealed that there was a leak on the car and from the tests that he performed the was no leakage and he assured me that there is nothing wrong and the engine light was reset.

A week later my engine light came on again and I got stuck, only to find out that the car ran completely out of water. the car was towed to the nearest ford dealer and it was fixed by replacing the water pump.before the car went in for a service this problem never occured, it was fine the entire time. As much I am willing to understand that this could have been a problem that was waiting to occur, but I find it completely coincidental that it would occuer immidiately after a service. On my part i took the car back to be check the next day and I was told there is nothing wrong with the car only to get stuck a week later,I had to spend a lot money fixing the damage that could have been avoided if the car was attended by a competent personnel.

My service advisor"Leone" was very helpful and she tried to take it up with the technicians but that got us nowhere. upon multiple follow-ups with no success I made an effort to go to the dealership only to discover that this matter has been swept under the carpet and they are not willing to take reponsibility for this inconvence that I had to endure. To my utter DISGUST, I was told that there is no way that there could have been something wrong with the car when I brought it in after my engine light switched on else I wouldnt I have been able to drive home.the reasoning for this entire debacle is beyond shocking coming from the experts. I was going to accept that this was a mis-diagnosis on their part, not this flawed reason which has no supporting facts or some form of a "scientific" proof. Anyone with a head above their sholders cannot accept this kind of explannation, especially after getting stuck and waiting for 2 hours for a tow truck and spend the whole week without a vehicle.

In addition, the car was reporting that it needs an engine oil change, which I was told that the service notification was not reset. As much as I am willing to accept that but this goes a long in showing the incompetency of the people that were handling my car.
