On the 31st of July 2014, my wife bought a new VW Golf 7 TSI DSG from the Constantia dealership. In Sep 2014 she started hearing a noise in the engine compartment and took the car back to the dealership for investigation. The service agent was in the car and heard the noise too. A couple of days later the car was returned to her with a report that this is an oil pump noise and absolutely normal. We where not allowed to get a copy of this report. The noise became worse and my wife made another booking for the car to be checked in December 2014. This time she app**** for a courtesy car. She was put on a waiting list, but after days of no feedback about the courtesy car, she took the car in, because she did not want to drive the car with the noise. This time however the service manager was in the car and also heard the noise. After a couple of day of diagnostics, it was found that there was some factory fault on the clutch plates and that they need to be replaced. VW did not have the parts and she was told that they will be ordered and arrive in the new year (2015). She is still waiting for a courtesy car and her car to be repaired.
