Poor service from VW

Pathetic service received from VW Mcarthy , Monty Naicker Road , Durban. Car was booked in for a service and the very next day the gearbox and clutch was faulty.When sent in for the repair the Bidvest Warranty did not cover the repair.I was forced to pay for the repair and then found out that my vehicle was used by their branch for an hour on the day of the service.Is VW responsible for my damage ? Yes I would assume so , since the service manager and dealer principle did not get back to me.
