Please learn from my mistake. Only checked my contract a year later....

I bought a Subaru WRX from Bidvest Mccarthy Brooklyn just before they closed, 2018 - 09 - 08. I had a verbal agreement with Herman - The salesperson - to not load any service charges in exchange for not fixing the steering wheel (peeling) and right rear lens of the brake light. In my haste i never checked the final contract. I have now checked the contract and they loaded R 5,130.00 for service charges, onto the financing. As I don't have any record of the conversations on email, and the business has moved so I doubt if I'll be able to do anything about it. But I would like to have this as a warning for anyone doing business with McCarthy, please check you final contract.
