Pathetic Service and Unfair Treatment

On Friday 2020-05-22 I contacted Bidvest Mccarthy Isuzu Pretoria regarding a Ford fiesta 2016 1.4 listed on their website to ask if it's still available, I spoke to Elvis Netshivhongweni who told me that the car is still available and he can bring it for me to test drive. He brought the car, I test drove and it was great. I told him to give me an offer to purchase so i can make a payment for the car, and he did, the car was R119000.00, he further advised that he will deliver the car after he has received a proof of payment.

I made the payment listed on the offer to purchase on 2020-05-25, he told me that they will bring the car to me on the 26th. The day went by on the 26th I didn't hear anything from him and on the 27th I decided to give him a call. That was when I learnt that the car I paid a full amount for, has been sold to someone who "had a better offer". Mind you I wasn't contacted to be told all of this, I had to call them to find out.

I asked how possible that was he told me that their managers can decline a deal even after a full amount has been paid.

I then app**** for a refund of my R119000.00 on 2020-05-30, and I was told that I will have my money on Monday 2020-06-01. On the very same Monday I got an email from Elvis who told me that i have to fill in a refund for, which i did and sent it back to him, I CC'd his manager Stiaan Kriel.

I've been calling both Elvis and Stiaan to follow up on the refund and all I've been getting was promises, which us evident that they are empty. I've been doing run arounds trying to fix the mess that I did not create. Bidvest Mccarthy doesn't want to refund me my hard earned money.

I have been trying to get through to the complaints department however that seems not to be possible either Bidvest Mccarthy. I tried calling the head office aswell and spoke to the lady by the name Gony, who has been taking my details and promising me that I will get a call from someone which has never happened. I have been fighting a losing battle with McCarthy. I now have to commute to work using 3 taxis and I spend a whole lot if money. I should be getting interest on my money, but it's now sitting ar Budvests account and I'm losing interest in it. I am very disappointed and I need this matter fixed urgently!
