OWNERSHIP CERTIFICATE

I bought a car in Dec 2014 and paid cash for it. The car had some problems before I took ownership which they were then supposed to have fixed but after about a month's driving with it, its seems to still have the same problems it had before. I have also been in contact with the salesman who also promised to bring the docs as well as spare key which he said was in his possession but to date nothing has happened. I called them a couple of times too where they first asked me to send an e-mail which I did and did not get a reply to. I called yesterday again and was promised to be called that same day in the afternoon which never happened. I called today again asking to speak to the salesman only to find out he no longer works there and it makes me wonder if he still had the papers with him and where do I now stand?? Please assist urgently
