Old battery for a "new" car

I Bought a 2015 Nissan Qashqai at the dealership.

The sale went well and I am pleased with the deal the dealership gave me.

Fast forward three months the battery starts giving problems.

I took the car to Nissan and they tell me they cant replace the battery under warranty because the original battery has been removed.

When I bought the car the dealership gave me a document that proves that the battery has been tested and is in good condition.

When I rechecked the document I noticed that they performed that test almost a year prior to me buying the car!

I phoned McCarthy VW Witbank Commercial and a manager told me he cannot help because the battery would have been out of the warranty period in any case.

I asked him why there is no documentation that shows that a "new" battery was fitted and he said he does not know.

Nissan told me that the battery is old and the dealership should have replaced it.

Thank you McCarthy VW Witbank commercial.
