NEW VEHICLE DEFECTIVE

Purchased a new vehicle from McCarthy Mobeni. On pick up, it was discovered there was a problem with the gears, Reported to the dealer, who referred me to my closest McCarthy branch.They confirmed there is a problem with the gears. On calling the sales personnel at Durban, was informed that they will repair the car. I cannot accept a new vehicle that came with a defect and was reported immediately, will be repaired .<br> I either want a new replacement car, or the deal to be cancelled.<br> I have been given the run around for two weeks now by the staff at Durban, and the dealer principal has not been available, and there is no one standing in for him, in his absence. <br> Unbelievable and unacceptable shoddy and pathetic service from Toyota.
