Never buy spares from them

I bought a clutch kit from this branch for my Fiat Punto 1.4 emotion as well as the t/o bearing they said we would need as well. I had it installed by John-John from A-Z Gearboxes. After 4 months on the 2nd of October my car broke down clutch kit broken again. John-John removed the clutch and found it the lining broken into pieces inside the clutch kit. I took it back to McCarthy and asked for a replacement. They refused and said they need to investigate first. We took photos,<br> <br> I left the part there and had to buy a new clutch kit from another branch to get my car fixed so I could get to work. After a week I found Byron Louw the parts executive who took the part in and asked him what the finding is. He said it is normal wear and tear and abuse. So obviously I was furious. Since when does part that you buy only last 4 months, and at the prices they charge with no pirate parts on the market they should be ashamed. <br> <br> After a few discussions with Byron we are not reaching a solution and writing an email to his manager Andre Clark. Obviously they are denying responsibility and refusing to give back my money. <br> <br> So I will not advice anybody to buy spares from them every. Alida Deyzel
