Misleading information

In March last year I purchased a 'demo' Ford Figo from McCarthy VW in Gezina. I never got to test drive the vehicle prior to delivery. I was informed verbally that the vehicle was in excellent condition. I was also informed I get a free 3 year/ 60000km maintenance and service plan, which I discovered was not the case when I took the vehicle to an approved service centre. I ended up paying out of my pocket for that. Recently had a breakdown. Took the car to a service centre, was adviced the burst thermostat housing was actually not the original vehicle-fitted part. And so is the water pump. I'm beginning to question just how \excellent"was the condition. I also discovered broken bottles on the side panel"
