McCarthy N1 City

I purchased a used ford fiesta with 17 000km on the clock from McCarthy Toyota N1 City. After driving it back up to Gauteng I realised the onboard computer would reset every time I started the car. I took it for an inspection under the factory warranty only to be told the vehicle had been in an obvious collision. The headlamp bracket was torn, the bonnet had been removed, the onboard computer wasn't working.

McCarthy N1 city asked to do their own inspection of the vehicle at Ford McCarthy the Glen which yielded the same result. After two failed attempts to repair the car, which resulted in even more rattling noises coming from the manifold I asked to be refunded... and this is where McCarthy N1 really started to drag their feet around the matter. Every email I received regarding when I would get feedback or have my deposit returned to me has been a lie, currently I have bent over backwards to get the car returned to them on time only to be told my deposit would be paid back later than promised. This is highly unprofessional and I will never make a purchase through McCarthy dealer again.
