I am cheated by McCarthy Volkswagen.
Somebody please help me, I'm being cheated by an institution and frustrated on how I can be assisted, I bought a car last year on the last day of March, part of the contract was that they will handle the traffic licensing costs. Now a year later, I have to renew my license disk, but I had to pay R407 for roadworthy that was required when ownership was transferred to me last year and also pay R268 in addition to the annual R336 license disk renewal fee, the 268 comes from an accrued amount of the previous year licensing, because the dealership only paid R120, and adding it to the R268, this amounts to R388, greater than the annual fee because of the interest accumulated. Now because I needed the license disc, I paid these amounts knowing that I will prove to the dealership that it was their costs that I had to pay and be refunded. But now that is not the case, the manager waved a hand to me and said they were liable to pay R120, and doesn't control what happens in traffic department... but when I ask him how then it was possible to renew a disc for me with R120. he says I must go ask traffic department. R635 should be refunded to me, last year costs of licensing are owed by VW.
