My grandmothers car Mercedes Benz was taken in to MacCarthy Menlyn Mercedes Benz for a repair on the Hydraulic pump to the power steering as the power steering was not working properly. they determined that we needed to replace the pump and the cost involve are over R19000. after the replacement and money paid another third party had a look at the car and noticed the pump had no hydraulic fluid that's why the power steering failed. HOW ON EARTH CAN MaCathy NOT SEE THIS AND CHARGE A LADY OF 79 YEARS OLD OVER R19000??????How did they check the car? do they even know what to look for? the pump only needed oil but according to the specialist she needs to replace??? best of all is she will not even get her money back as she is charged with a service fee and nothing was done to the car.
