Expecting client to pay traffic fine they recieved

The driver that delivered the car got a traffic fine the morning before car was delivered. After numerous calls and the branch manager being given the physical traffic fine no effort being made to pay the fine. A summons to appear in court is filed against me now. We have proof of the time the car was delivered and the car even had the old CA number plates on when the traffic offence was committed and not the new number plates.<br>
