Duped into accepting Membership

I purchased a vehicle in Dec 2016. In Jan 2017 I received a call from Bidvest Club Mccarthy. idont remember too much of the conversation, but i do remember, i did not want the membership at R30 a month but was TOLD this was compulsory..I had to take the membership. So anyways last week going through my bank statement i see they have now started deducting R70 a month.. so i investigated and i also came across something on their website that stated the first year is free (on the Blue Tier) which i assume i am on... i called the call centre and requested that my membership be cancelled and that i wanted all monies deducted from my account from Jan 2017 be refunded to me. BECAUSE i was told this was COMPULSORY. so anyway the lady said they would review the conversation and would call me back..i also requested that if they are disputing that i was made to believe that this was compulsory, then i wanted to hear the recordings myself- i have not received a response. I called them on the 8th Feb..just to be clear. i want my refund.
