Check thoroughly when buying from Westgate vw
I bought a used car from Westgate 27 August 2018, the car didn't have the tools; jack, wheel spanner, triangle. They told to buy those things and I'll be refunded and I only got my refund in January '19. The heater was not working, the ignition keys and the door keys were different, they didn't have the batteries for the car remote and the alarm system wasn't making any sound, but those were just some miner problems. After driving the car on a gravell road I got to my destination very dusty like I was digging a grave and everything was dusty inside the car and I checked everywhere only to find that the dust was sneaking through the boot and I also found that the car is actually a cut & join. When I told the sales manager(Trevor) about my problem he treated me like I was just someone from the street and not his customer. I decided to leave the car there and speak to the dealer principal (Mr Pillay) I was very surprised that he treated me the same way Trevor treated me. Since I left the car there I never received a call from the dealer and its nearly a month now and I have to pay the bank for a code 3 vehicle I never expected to get from VW, and they want me to take a fall for it. Disappointed
