Cheated by WV Constantia - No Transparency or credible advice

I feel cheated by the poor ethics of this dealership. I have been a client 2008 purchasing 4 brand new vehicles with my last purchase being in 2016. I have been servicing my vehicles at the dealership forever. My last experience is however dreadful. The service department has been pushing to replace my brake pads since the 30 000KM service reporting to me that front and rear brake pads are WORN OUT.

I said there is no way as my brakes usually last beyond 60 000KM. I still drove to the next interval and again being told the brakes are worn out! I eventually asked the service consultant to be honest with me and tell me what MM is left on the pads as I cannot believe its worn out on 42 000KM. Again the answer is they are both worn out front and rear. Being overcautious now as all my brakes are worn out based on the findings I phoned around getting some quotes and VW Constantia gave me a quote of R2047.

I decided OK - let me book my vehicle and get this sorted as I do not want to drive around with worn out brakes. Service consultant phones saying yes they can confirm both front and rear brakes are worn out and has to be replaced. I said ok just do the front brake pads and was then quoted R2800. After I said I got a different quote a few days earlier they quickly dropped the price.

When I collected my vehicle - the service report stated 4mm left on rear, although it is border line of being replaced that re not yet WORN OUT and the advice should rather have been replace them at least in about x amount of KM's.

I feel cheated by the pricing method being app**** and how quickly the price drops if you raise this and how the advice cannot be trusted as I have been driving with WORN OUT brakes for 15 000KM and still have 4MM thread left - how can I trust this dealership to be transparent?

I would rather go to VW Hatfield group from now on
