Beware for first time Car Buyers

About 7 days ago I signed my pre-owned car papers at Bidvest Mccathy Sandton, I was promised that the car had full service history before i bought it only to find out that it was 2800km above its second service, I still haven't gotten the printout of the first service as well. I tried to return the car as it was clearly sold on a lie, but the manager laughed at me and told me I can't return a car because I don't like its smell, Needless to say I was angry at this and now waiting to lodge a formal complain against this ripoff from what i though was a reputable dealer. Is lying a part of business nowadays?
