Be careful for the promises made by McCarthy Toyota Hatfield

I had a very bad experience with McCarthy Toyota Hatfield. They serviced my car. I serviced it 3 years before at them. Four days after I got it back the oil light came on. I took it back, they told me that it is only the sensor of the light which is faulty and that it is save to drive. About 52km further the engine seized. They said it was because the car wasn't serviced for 3 years. But is was with them for a service 7 days earlier! I took it to the Ombudsman who also took McCarthy's side. I can't pay R27 000 for repairs and decided to sell the car. Now they charged me R8277 for tow in costs and a hired car. I didn't asked for it to be towed in or for a hired car. I actually already booked a hired car at another company at a very good rate. I will agree on paying R915.59 for the stripping and quote but how can I pay for something which I never asked for. And they are holding me hostage because my car is still with them and I need to pay this before I can remove my vehicle. I never want have anything to do with McCarthy Toyota ever in my life. They make promises to you as a client when you are in trouble and then they do not keep their promises. I will never ever recommend anyone to do business with McCarthy Toyota Hatfield in particular.
