Bad service at McCarthy Brooklyn.

My Fiat Bravo is currently with McCarthy Brooklyn for a check up and repair for all parts covered under the warranty.

On Monday (21st of November 2016) I left my car there and was told that they will have a look at my car as per my request.

Tuesday afternoon I gave them a call enquiring on the status of my car. The service manager or overseer (unsure what specific title he holds, however his name is Dakalo) then notifies me that he left me a voice note in the morning stating that their equiptment was unable to process my car and that it had to be moved to centurion branch the following day. I told him that I am immobile without the car and that they would have to take it through.

Wednesday morning at 11 I gave the Brooklyn Branch a call again after calling the Centurion branch and finding out from them that my car was not there. enquiring on the status of my car, Dakalo then told me that there had been a misunderstanding between the two branches and that I would have to come and pick up my car and take it to Centurion on the 12th of December 2016, in other words 20 days later when I am on leave for the December holidays, a trip planned far in advance.

I do not understand how a misunderstanding between the two branches should becomy my (the clients) problem, We all have problems and I do not make my problems someone elses. I expect the same from a well known brand like McCarthy.

Furthermore. Dakalo refused on multiple occasions to give me the name and contact details of his manager, only doing so after half an hour of arguing with him over the phone. I have been trying to get ahold of the branch manager Stefan, however without any success and being constantly cut of. I am also unable to get ahold of anyone at their head office.

I was never given a status update of my car, where it is and the situation. I had to phone the branch every time with no one even trying to get ahold of me and asking if I was availiable to take my car for a service on the 12th of December.

I want my car looked at and fixed within this week as they have told me, and not 20 days later when I am unable to take it through.
