A reputable dealership sold a car without producing a full service record

I bought hyndai I. 10 at VW in Germiston last year in January . I'm a first time car buyer . Last week my overheated and blew the head gasket. When I bought the car it was at 48 000 km.The then forward a claim to my insurance company a full service history record was needed as I went through the service book I discovered the there was no record for 45 000 km service. I then went back to VW on 14 of July in the morning to ask for records I was told that they will track the records and get back to me . Meanwhile my claim won't be processed with a full service record. I waiting for records until today . I went the following which was on Friday I was told they will email the records
