Dishonest service
On the 8th of September 2018 I purchased a Chevy sonic on auction from Burchmores Springfield park. It has numerous unforseen problems that was not disclosed to the bidders before or at the time of the auction. Car problems are as follows: Electric Windows only drivers window works. Engine problem, after driving about 100m it starts to smoke and miss fire. Steering rack is knocking. Engine light is staying on. Airbags lights staying on. Conclusion: I am aware that this is an auction and that we where supposed to check the car before buying. But things like car been involved in a accident, air bags popped, engine and steering rack not in good condition should be disclosed. We are allowed to check the body, interior and start the car but at time off viewing the keys are not in the car. I am willing to take responsibility for not checking the Windows. But the rest of the stuff should have been disclosed as we are not allowed to test drive the car and we have no idea of the history of the car. I requested a refund for the car on the 11th of September, the day after collecting the car, the car was picked up on the 12th. I gave them a list of the problems staying that if they are going to return the car to me I need the car to be in good working order and that I will want a breakdown of what was done on the car with a guaranty. The car was given back to me today the 18th of September. With a bad oil leak, airbag lights on, service light on, steering rack not fixed and only one headlight working(both worked before going back to them) I spoke to Eddie from Burchmores, his response to me was that I don't know how auctions work and that they did not know about these problems at the time, Note anyone that drove the car would have known off the problems
