Consumers have rights to be treated fairly even at auction houses

I recently purchased a vehicle at Burchmores. The disc of the vehicle expired on 31 March 2019. After collecting the car I was informed that the paperwork would be finalized at least by Tuesday 7th May 2019.

Every time I call to ask where the process is ; the story changes. This effectively means that I have bought a vehicle to keep at home as I cannot drive the vehicle since the disc expired a long time ago. Despite being assured that I will be called; I am the one who keeps calling.

I feel like the view is when you buy through an auction you relinquish your rights to be dealt with in a fair manner. Burchmores must change its attitude towards consumers.
