AUTION DEPOSIT NOT REFUNDED

I requested a refund of my deposit from Burchmores on 18 March 2020 after attending an auction a few days earlier. I communicated via email with Tammy de Vos (Admin Clerk) and was promised a refund within 7 working days.

No monies were repaid. On 13 May 2020 I was in contact with Kevin Visser (Management) who also promised a speedy resolve of this matter, but to no avail.

It is now 17 June 2020, 3 months later and I still have not received my deposit back. How many others have suffered my fate while Burchmores is earning interest on our backs.

This is despicable behavior by Burchmores, moreso when South Africans are feeling the financial pinch caused by COVID 19.

This is more of prioritizing profit over their customers. Typical of what is being displayed by the parent company BIDVEST - GREED!!!.
