Worst service ever from a company!

We took our Renault Meganne to the shop in Mayfair on 6 May 2023 for a diagnostics and quote. We were ensured the shop has a seven day turnaround, and we informed them that the car needs to be sent to Cape Town by 22 May 2023. It took them a week to give us a quote (quite an astronomical amount, if I may add) and we gave them the go ahead for the repairs. It is now 23 May 2023, the car is still not ready to go; all we are receiving (that is IF we can actually get a hold of anyone at the shop) is excuses! The worst thing is that the money for the repairs has already been paid in full, yet, there is no feedback of any kind from the shop's side. We are on the brink of losing about R6 500 at the company who is supposed to take the car down to Cape Town because of this shop's incompetence! This is unacceptable, especially if you take into account that they are the only ones who can work on automatic gearboxes!
