Ridiculous Prices
I was absolutely shocked at the prices I received from them... I understand that a business needs to make a profit but this was disgusting put nicely.... I took a 1996 mazda rustler bakkie to replace a gearbox seal which costs approx R200.00 and labour I would have estimated around R1000.00 max, oil shows 1 unit so I'm not sure if it is 1 pint or a 5ltr which also costs R200.00 max they charged me R3950... Then when complained the brought it down to R3200... which still makes it more than double the price.... something has to be done by top management or even by the directors... a response would be really useful. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the opportunity to investigate your matter. I represent senior management and have addressed your complaint at executive level.
In your review, you state that our pricing is excessively overpriced. As I’m sure you can understand, we offer our services and products at market and industry related prices that we believe are fair. This takes into account many different factors. We stand by our commitment to these values.
In terms of your complaint, you verbally expressed your pricing concern at the time of quotation, whereby the Service Advisor and her Manager explored ways to assist your request for a pricing accommodation, which you then accepted and gave the go ahead to complete the job. The job was completed and your vehicle was collected on the 3rd November in good condition.
We do not agree that the pricing was excessive. You received an excellent service with our workmanship guarantee.
