unfair Payment practice

I want to know if it is legal to pay for a door in full as demanded by Maxidor and wait 10days for the door?

To me it is an unfair practice. It is simple when you pay for an item and get receipt for what you paid and not wait so long. I can accept paying a deposit but insisting full payment and wait for delivery??????????????
