I have a slam lock door that needs maintenance. My friend reckoned that it looks like a maxidor.<br> Called Maxidor and explained to them that I am not sure if this specific door is a maxidor.<br> No problem, we ( Maxidoor ) will send out someone to go check and quote accordingly for repairs.<br> Person arrived, spent 3 minutes looking at door and taking three photos with his cell phone. He was also not sure if this was a maxidor door.<br> Then, charges me R 380.00 for call out and left with promise to find out what door and quote for repairs.<br> The next day at about 15H00 I phone this Maxidoor person several times to find out what is the way forward,<br> His response when I eventually got hold of him,,,sorry sir, it is not a maxidor, cant help you.<br> ***...I just paid R 380.00 for someone to come take 3 off pictures of door. I could have taken these pics and sent it to you ( Maxidor ) and I informed you on first call that I am not to sure about the make of door.<br> R 380.00 rand does not mean the end of the earth to me, but the idea of paying this money for this type of service sucks.<br> I will not advise anyone to do business with Maxidor, I sure will never, *7xx+// *******.
