MAXIDOR IS A **** OF A BUSINESS

In Nov 2021 I requested a quotation for security gates and burglar bars for my home from their branch in Port Elizabeth, Andre Le Roux came to my house and provided a quotation. I made full payment on 8 Nov 2021 and since then I have been receiving the run-around from these people. In Dec I received a letter that they have issues at their factory and that installation would take place once they open again in January. Early January I requested feedback from Andre and I received a letter that the company is going through financial difficulties and that the PE branch is trying to source another supplier. I have since requested a refund for my full payment as I am not interested in receiving anything from this horrific company, the PE branch I was dealing with told me that I must contact head office for a full refund and this I don't understand as I paid funds into the PE branch so it should be their duty to process my refund and deal with their head office. I have not received any acknowledgement of receipt of my request and now I a very worried. I paid a lot of money that I cannot afford to lose.
