Don't waste your time and money

We were recently quoted by Maxidor & Trellidor to install gates at our home. After a reassuring sales pitch we decided to use Maxidor. The quotation was paid for in full and an installation date was set after a few phone calls to the relevant department. On completion we were extremely unhappy with the installation. The paintwork on the beams used were chipped and untidy. There was a circle of dents on the side facing beam that were visible as soon as you entered. We had requested 2 extra sets of keys and these were not delivered. <br> A complaint was made to the after sales consultant and she faithfully promised to sort out the issues. It has taken them over 6 weeks from installation to come back to us. A branch manager or technical manager came over to inspect the installation and advised that several beams had to be replaced. Now the gate does not even slam shut because it does not align with the track properly. Several calls have been made to the salesman and he has passed the buck on to the after sales consultant. The latest excuse is that she called my mobile & left a message. There has been no attempt from Maxidor to complete the job - Verdict - Go with any other provider
