DO NOT USE MAXIDOR in Cape Town!!

After a 5 week late installation, Maxidor is finally here to install my security gate and guess what, it's not even Maxidor that pitches up, it's some other company (Best Buy Doors). And now I must just trust these strangers into my house. They've spent an hour this morning grinding the metal in my backyard to build the gate which makes you think why you had to wait so long for a 'custom' built gate from their factory.

The worst is if you try and phone customer service to find out when installation will happen they say that they will phone you back, and then they never do. They are incredibly rude and refuse to give your money back if they can't deliver on installation promises.

Do yourself a favour and go buy a security gate at Builders Warehouse and install it yourself.
