Disillusioned

I accepted a quote for burglar bars and security gates and paid a deposit on the 31st of December 2021. I have now been informed by Maxidor PE that Maxidor SA is in financial difficulty and is not able to produce the products as agreed upon. I then in turn sent them an email and request a refund of the deposit. I did not receive a response on my request. I was under the impression that I was transacting with a well established and reputable company that I can trust to secure the safety of my family. Just to be proven wrong.
