Disappointed

<p>I purchased Maxidor gates nearly 6 years ago. I got 3 quotes and their's was the most but thought they must be the best. Once the gates were installed, I was told that I had to service them every year. I have never heard of that before. Anyway I did every year for the first three. And all the technicians did was spray the gates with silicon spray and that was it. So we get to one month before the 5years is up. I phone Maxidor to tell them the gates are rusting and the powder coating is peeling off. Bearing in mind I had to complain to the head office in johannesburg as you cannot get hold of the Pinetown office. I also explained that I had missed the last two years of their 'service'. However yhey send a guy to check it out. He took photos and said he would report to his office. I never heard another word. So I complained again on the internet and managed to get another guy to come and look as no-one had any recollection of the first guy coming to me. The second guy took photos and promised to sort this out. I got a response from him to say that the manager was looking into this as my gates were out of the warranty. But my gates were still in warranty when I first reported. Anyway after nearly a year now, I get hold of the second guy who informs me that he has left the company. Well what now. I am so sick of Maxidor. I wish I had never used them and if I had the opportunity I would rip their gates out and get one of the other companies to install their gates. I find their service disgusting. Full of promises of nothing. I wouldn't use them if they gave me their gates for free. </p>
