Unfairness

Mawer and delport is the worst property agency one could ever rent for. I'm currently renting one of their property. Electricity we get charged crazy amounts and get charged Vat on top of the fee charged for electricity. Each year there is a deposit top up of which I feel its unfair as one gets charged deposit when moving in. During this Corona pandemic we requested relief as we had problems with salaries and we still do even now. We were given relief for a month and now we got charged for relief application. We've asked them to install prepaid meters so each and everyone can control their electricity usage but they failed instead they become rude and arrogant. Even this amounts that we being charged the credit relief application and the deposit top up is sickening because it was never in the contract and I never signed anything binding me to paying credit relief and I cannot be paying VAT on electricity that's wrong. It is unfair business practice to say the least
