Would not exchange goods.

Bought a E-Blue Card reader , It has a switch on fault and the computer cannot read it, went back to the store for an exchange they then tested it and found it be faulty, but they refused to exchange it, said I only have seven days to exchange.it need to go for repairs.
The consumer protection act says clearly I have 6 months to return it and its my decision if I want a refund or an exchange /repair.
Now I want a refund
The manager was stubborn and most unhelpful hiding behind, its the owners instructions.
Have Matrix never heard of the Consumer Protection Act ????
Want a refund within 7 days or I report them to the consumer council.
Hello Peterpilot,

Thank you for your post

We apologise for your frustration in this regard. Matrix Warehouse does trade within the boundaries of the CPA. The unit has been sent to the manufacturers authorised technical center for testing to confirm that the failure has not been caused due to any physical damage. If it is indeed factory failure you are entitled to a refund. The warranty claim will be dealt with as quickly as possible.

Best regards,
