TOSHIBA EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE

My mom bought me a Toshiba external hard drive 2TB for my birthday she purchased the hard drive on 17/02/2018, I already had that purchased last year the hard drive is R1400, I went to matrix computers at Mall@Carnival to return it with out he box because I thought my domestic cleaner through it away when I went to return it they told me the can not return it with box but they can give me a warranty repair only but if I had the box they will refund me my money. I found the box about a week ago in my cupboard by the house, when I went back to return it last week they said the can not exept it back because it had to be returned with on 7 day it's on the slip, there is no policy on there slip stating that goods must be returned except with in 7 days but right at the bottom it says Terms & c Conditions on request or vist www.matrixwarehouse.co.za. That is all.
