Theft / Incompetence
<p>Thousands of rands of hardware missing and a two thousand rand bill. Unacceptable.</p> <p>I took a PC with two harddrives in for repair at Matrix Warehouse in Fourways Crossing. My standard 1TB drive was fixed. The other 3TB drive was replaced by a brand new 1TB drive and an old 250GB drive. I ended up with three hard drives, two of which I had no use for and one missing HDD worth between R2,000 and R3,000.</p> <p>When confronting the employees and a manager/senior staffer I was told that the 250GB drive was there all along. Their quick unconvincing glossing-over of the CCTV recordings simply stalled my inquiry in its tracks since there was "nothing they could do".</p> <p>Someone now has a new 3TB hard drive while I foot the bill. I hope they enjoy it, the ****ers.</p> <p>I'd advise everyone to get their hardware pilfered elsewhere that doesn't charge as much.</p>

Your PC was worked on under full camera surveillance all the time. When it was opened you can see two drives in it. We added a third hard drive (1TB) and reloaded the OS. The PC was handed back to you working 100%, with the two original drives in it and the new one. At no point was any of the old drives removed that was in the PC when it arrived at our store. We have the CCTV video footage to confirm this and you are welcome to come and view the footage at your convenience. In this case the branch has comp**** with our trading terms and handled the repair in the correct manner.
