Shocking Service

I obtained a written quote for an Inverter, R2500.00 with 4 day delivery. At the same time I accepted and paid in full for the item<br> <br> 6 days later I went to the store to collect the Inverter, they phoned head office and I was given the following info. There was a mistake on the quote it should have been around R11000.00, It was not the first time this had happened and the person responsible for the quote would be fired. They would supply the item at the quoted price. They would phone me when it was ready.<br> I was not contacted and left a message on their website.<br> The next day I was called back, I didn't get the gents name. He told me the following. The price was based on a special and the items were no longer in stock, if they were, he would have purchased them himself.<br> There was nothing they could do but refund the money, I told him this was unacceptable. His attitude was very arrogant and he was most unhelpful. He didn't want to hear my side and when I asked him to put it in writing he refused, saying it wasn't necessary.<br> Clearly someone is being untruthful here.<br> I will not do any further business with this company
